Riverside County keeps getting better with age!

As our older population rapidly expands, so does our community’s need for trustworthy, kind in-home caregivers. We provide access to caregivers who help at-risk adults live safely and independently in their own home. We also have services to protect adults from abuse and neglect.

Adult Services

Older adults and those with disabilities deserve the freedom to live safely in the comfort of their own home. We believe in your right to dignity, to self-determination, and to live with as much independence as possible.

Find a Caregiver

The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority recruits and provides training to both IHSS consumers and in-home care providers throughout the county. All at no cost to the IHSS consumer.

Do you enjoy assisting others? Are you interested in earning $18.00 an hour or more? Become a Registry Care Provider! Without IHSS and providers, recipients may be unable to remain safely in their own homes

CalFresh Food Assistance

CalFresh puts food-buying power into the hands of working-class households. With CalFresh, you can buy sufficient, healthy food to meet your household’s needs.

IHSS Advisory Committee

We are the IHSS Advisory Committee. We collaborate with DPSS on topics related to administering In-Home Supportive Services in Riverside County. We are made up of 11 volunteers appointed by the Board of Supervisors.

Housing Assistance

Safe housing is a basic human need. We want to help. If you are currently homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness, HomeConnect can help by providing access to available housing opportunities and resources in your community.

Restaurant Meals Program

If buying food to prepare at home is not an option, you may qualify for Riverside County’s Restaurant Meals Program. This allows you to use your CalFresh benefits to buy meals from participating restaurants, locally and statewide!
