Kristine Loomis

Kristine Loomis is a dedicated In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) consumer advocate and longtime member of the Riverside County IHSS Advisory Committee, where she has served since 2002. Living with a significant physical disability since her twenties, she brings invaluable lived experience to her advocacy, helping improve services that enable seniors and people with disabilities to live safely and independently in their own homes.

Ms. Loomis combines her personal experience with professional expertise in communications and technology, having worked in website development and electronic communications for the UDW Care Providers Union. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems.

Throughout her years of service, Ms. Loomis has partnered with Riverside County, the Public Authority, UDW, and community organizations to advance initiatives including provider recruitment, emergency backup care systems, disability awareness training, consumer and provider education, and caregiver recognition programs. She has also supported statewide efforts to strengthen the IHSS program through advocacy for fair wages, health benefits, and sustainable long-term care policies.

Passionate about collaboration, education, and inclusion, Ms. Loomis remains committed to ensuring older adults and individuals with disabilities have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
