A partial federal government shutdown is now in effect due to questions over funding. It’s important for Riverside County DPSS customers to know that public benefits are NOT impacted at this time.
Customers can regularly monitor their accounts at BenefitsCal.com and follow RivCoDPSS.org for updates. We will share more information as it becomes available.
Some important pieces of information:
- Residents can continue to use their existing benefits.
- DPSS offices remain open, and we will continue to process case information and new applications.
- Customers can apply for or monitor benefits and update case information at BenefitsCal.com or by calling 1-877-410-8827.
- We ask customers to continue submitting requested forms and reports to ensure their case remains open so that, once the shutdown is resolved, benefits can be issued without delay.
