How The Government Shutdown Will Impact Customers

The State is starting to restore full CalFresh benefits for November. Some customers have already received 100% of their monthly benefits on their EBT cards. Check your account at BenefitsCal.com and follow RivCoDPSS.org for updates. For additional information, see the following Frequently Asked Questions from CDSS.
There remains no immediate disruptions to Medi-Cal or CalWORKs and we will share more information as it becomes available.
- Residents can continue to use their existing CalFresh benefits.
- DPSS offices remain open, and we will continue to process case information and new applications.
- CalFresh recipients can apply for or monitor benefits and update case information at BenefitsCal.com or by calling 1-877-410-8827.
We ask CalFresh recipients to continue submitting requested forms and reports to ensure their case remains open so that, once the shutdown is resolved, benefits can be issued without delay.
