One Team- One Dream

Riverside- They appeared rough and tough on the field, but when it’s not game-time some of the Riverside City College Football Tigers showed their gentler side. The Tigers teamed up with The Riverside County Department of Public Social Services to produce a 2017 adoption awareness calendar.  “One Team-One Dream” is a new calendar that features players and children in foster care waiting for permanent adoptive homes.

Social Services Director Susan von Zabern said, “On any given day there are more than 100 foster children waiting to be adopted.  We work very hard to ensure that these children are connected with a loving, stable, and permanent family.”

The calendar will be revealed this week at a series of events around Riverside County and online.  One Team- One Dream is also available to the public and will be distributed through the DPSS Children’s Services Division.

“To know you are touching the lives of not only so many children but the lives of the players as well, that’s what makes this effort so special,” said RCC Head Football Coach Tom Craft.

This is the first calendar edition featuring RCC Tigers Football, Cheer, and Dance Teams and we’re celebrating by giving you a look behind-the-scenes at the making of One Team-One Dream.

One Team- One Dream calendars will also be distributed at an upcoming RCC Tigers football game.
