23rd Annual Valley-wide Employment Expo to provide job opportunities
An employment fair that attracts thousands of people will be held Thursday (9/20) at the Fantasy Springs Casino Resort Event Center in Indio.
This is on track with last year’s record of over 90 employers and exhibitors from the hospitality, retail, banking, gaming, education and government sectors. Employment opportunities range from entry level to upper management.
This is the twenty-third year of the event, a collaboration among Riverside County’s Economic Development Agency/Workforce Development and Department of Public Social Services, and the California Employment Development Department.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino Event Center, 84245 Indio Springs Drive.
Shuttle transportation for bus riders is new this year and can be accessed at the SunLine bus stop hub off Highway 111 in Indio beginning at 8:30 a.m. Shuttles will leave every 30 minutes until 12 p.m. The last shuttle returning attendees from the events center to the Highway 111 location will be 1 p.m.
